Your privacy and the confidentiality of your communications are of great importance to us. If you have further questions please feel free to contact us or talk to your child's physician.

This service is committed to complying with the Standards for Privacy of Individually Identifiable Health Information (the "Privacy Regulation") under the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 ("HIPAA"). Healthcare providers who use this service sign a Business Associate Agreement that requires both the provider and Kids4health.net to maintain the privacy and security of any information collected, transmitted or stored and limits access to only registered users or specific personnel of the web site.

Online Security

Portions of this site use the latest 128-bit Secured Socket Layer (SSL) technology to encrypt information sent from the client (home user) to Kids4health.Net. This is the industry-accepted form of encryption in use by the larger e-commerce sites as well as most financial institutions.

Kids4health.Net uses a state of the art server with the latest firewall protection. The ISP hosting the Kids4health.Net server does not have access to the data stored in our application. The computers are located in a locked server-room with 24/7 security and surveillance.

An independent and voluntary HIPAA audit of our website was done in October, 2006.

Data Storage

Providers or their clinic administrator can only access patient information if they are registered and use their username and password. Parents and teachers who use the service cannot access any stored information on a child. After a parent or teacher finishes a rating they do have the option of printing or saving that rating. Joseph J. House, Licensed Psychologist and owner of this service maintains the right to use aggregate data for research purposes. Such data does not include a child or parent name or anything that could identify an individual patient.

Sharing Information

Information collected from this site will only be used for internal purposes. It will not be sold, traded or given away to anyone.
